Talent

I'm so excited that Hailey loves to color. I mean, look at that talent.

Finally...She's a Walker!

She didn't crawl until 10 months,

and she didn't walk until 14 months,

but now she's a pro...so it's all good!

A Girl and Her Dog

Hailey LOVES Moose. Moose was her second word (after dad). Moose puts up with her crawling all over him, and she deals with Moose's tail hitting her in the head . They are inspeperable. This teeny little girl and giant dog.

The Spoon

I knew this wouldn't be pretty, but I thought Hailey would have fun trying to use a spoon.

There was a lot of cleaning up to do, but it was worth it! :)

A Glimpse of the Future

Hailey had her friend Rylee over a few weeks ago. She loved showing off all of her new toys. Rylee wasn't so sure about being in the truck with Hailey. She knew it wasn't a good idea (smart girl), but she went with it. I'm pretty sure they will still be like this in 16 years.

Readin'

Hailey still can't sit long enough for us to read her a book (and I am a teacher, ugh!), but she loves looking at her books on her own. I guess that shows that she's an independent reader...right? It melts my heart to see her cuddled up in her chair and reading...even if it is only for 2 minutes.

Daaaaad!

Hailey yells for her dad about 100 times a day. She just loves him. We're pretty lucky girls!

Happy Valentine's Day, Steve!

Louie's

Hailey has graduated to getting her very own doughnut hole on Saturday mornings when we go to Louie's bakery.

She's one happy girl!

Use of Fork, take 1

I found this super cute sticky bowl and untensil set at the grocery and had to get it for Hailey even though she doesn't use a fork or a spoon. So we tried the fork with some mangoes....and well...it was entertaining at least.

That's one way to do it. :)

At least she looks good doin' it!

"Silly parents, thinking you're going to civilize me!"
